Aprill Allen
Aprill is a freelance copywriter and founder of Best eBooks for Writers, living in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, Australia, with her husband and two sons.
She has a long history with blogging, chronicling her life and family since 2001.
Starting out in the communication industry as a volunteer radio announcer in the early 90s, Aprill has had experience interviewing musicians and music industry big-wigs, creating zines and co-ordinating the release of an international indie-music compilation.
She then moved into a career in IT, enabling her internet addiction for over a decade. Finally, in 2009, her right-brain dominated and Aprill found her way in to copywriting. Focusing on website copy, she enjoys working with a variety of material, but her experience with IT means she's proficient in making geekery understood by everyone.
A self-confessed forum and social media junkie, Aprill loves the power of the written word. Her primary goal is to move people or make them laugh, delighting in being retweeted or quoted.
